WILKISTER AWUOR OTIENO NOMBI (REMBO)

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the demise of our dearly beloved wife, mother, daughter and friend; the late Wilkister Awuor Otieno Nombi (Rembo) that occurred on 2nd July 2021 at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu County. Until her time of death, the late Wilkister served as a Public Health officer in Homa Bay County,

Loving daughter of Mzee Churchil Otieno and Mama Benter Otieno of Nyakach Kadiang’a, Kisumu County. Dear wife to George Nombi (Ministry of ICT, Broadcasting and Telecommunications, Nairobi) of Rabuor Masawa village, Homa Bay County. Loving mother to Tey Gavinson Nombi (Cape View Academy) and Keyta Ladasha Nombi (King Solomon Academy). Sister to Bildad Otieno, Dr. Austine  Otieno (JOOTRH), Beryl Otieno, Edwine Gombe and Sally Daisy among others.

Sister-in-law to Mzee Anton Nombi, Mzee Paul Odero Nombi, Mama Mary Pande, Fredrick Nornbi, Michael Nombi, Lucy Nombi, Ben Nornbi, Erick Nornbi and Silas Nombi. Co-sister-in-law to Mary Anton, Millicent Odero, Florence Awino, Nancy Owidi, Millicent Mara, Florence Adhiambo and Nancy Kemunto. Niece to Zilpah OdhLunbo, Jerusha Ouma, Phil Ouma, Eunice Ouma, Lydiah Ouma, Tim Ouma and Michael Gombe (Kuspaw) among others.

Loving aunt to Derrick, Tanisha, Dilan, Praise Gweth, Lincy, Eddy, Tamara and Ryan Otiso among others. Cousin to Erick, Emily, Collins Ouma, Collins Ochieng, Tyson, Nolyine, Oganyo, Chedine, Jacky, winter, Sheila, Jane, Sophy, Mary among others.

Funeral arrangements are held daily at her home in Pap Ndege village, Homa Bay County.

The body of the late Wilkister will leave Med-25 Kirindo Mortuary on 9th July 2021, for funeral service and burial at her home In Pap Ndege village, near Kabunde Airstrip in Homa Bay Town, Homa Bay County.
