WILLIAM MAGESHO DZILLA

1936-2021

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved father, Mr. William Magesho Dzilta while undergoing treatment at the Mombasa Hospital on 11 September 2021.

Son to the late Dzilla Chandarua Bao and the late Chonyi Tunje of Ziani, Kilifi County. Son-in-law to the late Daniel Munga Johana Beku and the late Victoria Mere Munga. Beloved husband to Bessie Kache Dzilla (formerly of Family Planning Association of Kenya). Loving father to Rose Dzame Chibudu, Geoffrey Dzilla, Victoria Mere Andrew, Janet Kadzo, Daniel Munga Dzilla, Doreen ldza and Yvonne Ndzalambi Dzilla and a father-in-law to marry.

Brother to the late Bao Dzilla, late Mpenzwe Dzilla, late Mathius Tunje Dzilla, late Jumwa Dzilla, Kache Gilbert Ziro and Anderson Mwalewa Dzilla (Chepe). Brother in law to the Shadrack Mgangas, the Daniel Mungas, Japheth Mumbas and the Johana Beku family. He was ‘Mwariyumba’ to JD Miura, Late Chuba Bakari, Pastor R. Kitsao, S.Tuva amongst others.

Grandfather to Bessie Kache (Mkubwa), Cynthia Dzilla, Bessie Kache (Mdogo), William Chibudu, Dail Karago, Gray Dzilla Amoyo, Umazi Munga, Mali Nzau and Bryant Kabundu among others. Great Grandfather to Emmanuel, Jaheim, Kevolwe, Eliah, Choni among others. An uncle and mentor to many.

Friends and Family are meeting daily to condole at the family home, Dzitsoni in Kilifi County (next to Dzitsoni Secondary) from 4pm to 6pm.

The cortege will leave Milele Funeral Home, Mavueni at 8 00 am on Saturday, September 2021, thereafter a funeral service and interment will be held at his Dzitsoni home in Kilifi County at 11.00 am In compliance with the prevailing COVID-19 protocols/restrictions, the funeral will be streamed live via  https://youtu.be/BcQ8dHAEeDU
