WILSON KIMUTAI SIRMA

With humble acceptance of God’s will,we announce the passing of Senior Principal Chief Wilson Kimutai Sirma on Saturday 28th September 2024.

He was the beloved son of James Kipyator Sirma and the late Everlyne Sirma (Kapmang’esoi) of Tuiyobei Farm, Mois Bridge, UasinGishu County.

He was beloved husband of Rebecca Mining Sirma, Head Teacher, Ndabarnach Primary School.

He was beloved father of Diana Chepchumba Limo and Brian Limo (Australia), Benson Mwangi and Daisy Chepchirchir Mwangi (Australia), Dennis Kipleting Mutai and Salome Mutai( Australia ), Pancy Kimutai and Isaac Matere, David Kibowott Mutai (KDF) and Eve Mutai.

He was brother of Gideon Kipkorir Sirma (Suam Hardware), Sally Jeptum Tanui, Silas Sirma Yator (Premier Farmers Mart), Eunice Chepngetich Ruto, Isaac Kiprotich Yator (NGAO), Job Kipkemboi Yator (SUAM Hardware) and Hillary Kiprop Yator.

He was brother in-law of Lilian Sirma, Rebecca Yator, Joyce Yator , Praxedes Yator, Rose Yator, Daniel Kiprotich, Bamwai of Kapkotut of Ndanai,The Ogutu’s of Rarieda-Siaya, Mwangi’s of Kamukunji Eldoret, Kapkaronei of Kosachei Turbo, Matere’s of Lukuyani.

He was nephew of the late Isaiah KIplagat, Jeremiah Sirma, William Sirma, Grace Mengich and Esther Birir among others.

He was cousin of Kennedy Keter, Joel Mengich, Abram Keter, Gladys Sirma, Jael Sirma, Betty Kiplagat, Judy Dow,The Late Moses Kiplagat, George Sirma, Rachel Cheren, Hezekiah Boit, Peter Birir, Liz Sirma, Dennis Sirma, Felix Cheruiyo, Florence Sirma among many others.

He was a loving grandfather of Shannah Betty Matere, Carl Mwangi, Mayson Cheruiyot Limo, Meghan Cherop Limo, Avree Chepkoech, Kiran Kibet and Kian Kiprop.

The body leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Private Wing Mortuary on Monday 14th October at 9:00 am for Moi’s Bridge.

The funeral service and burial will follow on Tuesday 15th October 2024 commencingat 9:00 am at Moi’s Bridge.
