ZAWERIA NYOKABI MUCHUNU (NYINA WA WAIREGI)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Zaweria Nyokabi Muchunu (Nyina Wa Wairegi) on 30th December 2022.

Loving wife to the late Andrew Muchunu Wairegi. Daughter to the late Kimani Kiriri and the late Wanjiru Kimani. Sister to the late Kiriri, the late Mumbi, the late Mary Wanjiku, the late Michael Wanjama and the late John Kieru.

Loving Mother to Nancy Mugure Gachau and the late Dr. Gachau, John Wairegi Muchunu and Dr. Lydia Wanja, Patricia Wanjiru, Jane Wanjiku and Samuel Wachira, Martin Kimani, the late Paul Kamau, Veronica Mumbi, Samuel Kiriri and Edith Wangui, Dr. Julia Wangari and Dr. Joseph Mberesero.

Much loved grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunty, cousin and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Nyayo Ward Engineer Level 4 Hospital, North Kinangop on Thursday, 5th January 2023 at 8.00am. Thereafter, a funeral service will be held at their home in Kitiri Scheme near Ndunyu Njeru, North Kinangop.

Meetings are ongoing at the family home, Kitiri scheme, every day at 3.00pm.
