ZIPPORAH NJOKI MUNGAI (WA – GICHINI)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Zipporah Njoki Mungai (Wa – Gichini), which occurred on 5th January, 2023.

Wife of the late Elijah Mungai Mbugua.

Daughter of the late Njehu Gichini and Wanjiku Njehu.

Mother to Peninah Wambui & William Carnie (UK), Njung’e Mungai & Judy Wanjiku, John Boro (USA), Elizabeth Nyorah (UK), George Gichini (EDN) & Nancy Wanjiku, Alice Wanjiru (UK), Jeremiah Kairu & Pauline Woki (BAT) and the late Jane Wanjiku, Grace Muthoni, Thuu Mungai and Stephen Njuguna.

Sister to the late Waweru Mbugua, Grace Muthoni, Njuguna Mbugua, Kanyua Mbugua, Nyora (Wanjiku Baranaba), Paul Gitau, Kairu Njehu and Geoffrey Muui.

Sister-in-law to Waithira Gitau and the late Wanjiru Gitau (Nyamagana), Esther Nyakio Kairu, Muthoni Muui and Josephine Wambui Muui. Aunt and Cucu to many.

Prayers are being held daily at her home in Ngecha, Limuru, near Gichuru High School from 4.00pm and at Bowling Green Restaurant, near City Park Nairobi on Wednesday and Thursday from 6.00pm.

The cortege will leave St. Teresa Hospital – Kiambu Road on Tuesday 17th January, 2023 at 9.00am for funeral service at PCEA Thing’ati Church at 11.00am and thereafter burial will be held at her farm near the Church.

She has fought the good fight, she has finished the race and she has kept the faith. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
